It's that time of year. We are looking for Donations for our Thanksgiving Baskets

 

CACD's food pantry is one of the three largest food pantries in Danbury. The food pantry is located at:
New Hope Baptist Church,
10 Aaron Samuels Boulevard
 Danbury, CT

The Food Pantry is open every Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

The food pantry provides healthy, nutritious food once per month to income-eligible households and individuals. The Food Pantry supplies food to clients on an eligibility basis that is determined by income. Required proof of eligibility includes a photo ID and proof of household income for all members of the family. Families with income below 200% of the federal poverty level are eligible to apply for Food Pantry benefits. Please click HERE to see if you are eligible

The number of meals distributed continues to rise as economic conditions in the area worsen. On an average month CACD serves around 250 people per month at the food pantry. In order to help low-income families and individuals, CACD is seeking both monetary and non-perishable food contributions. The agency's goal is to keep people from being hungry.
