American values have been shaped by providing equal opportunities to all regardless of race, ethnic origin and faith. CACD is founded on those beliefs and has helped those less fortunate for more than forty years. The economic downturn has created a very unfavorable environment for those dreaming of a better future and hoping to move up on the socio-economic scale. The economy has also taken its toll on funders who find themselves with fewer resources for philanthropic purposes.

CACD could use your support to help keep all of our wonderful programs and continue in our mission to eradicate poverty in Northwestern Fairfield and Litchfield Counties. Please consider becoming a partner with us by making a donation to CACD to help us sustain these programs and continue to make people’s live better.

CACD accepts all donations of goods (food, diapers, books, clothes, etc.) at both of our locations. Please call 203-744-4700 to set up a time to drop of all donations.
